The Interrupters and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls brought their co-headline "Neverending Tour of Everywhere" to the Dome at Oakdale Theatre on Wednesday, May 10. After a powerful opening set by Chuck Ragan, The Interrupters all but lit the stage on fire with their explosive energy. The band plowed through a fifteen song setlist spanning all four of their records, keeping the crowd captivated through high energy tunes like "Take Back The Power," "White Noise," and "She's Kerosene," alongside a more tender moment during "Alien" and a quick outro of Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah." Frank Turner and his band The Sleeping Souls took the stage. The band matched the energy perfectly, carrying the audience with ease through another sixteen songs spanning Turner's incredibly fruitful career of over two decades. After rocking through songs like "Punches," "Try This At Home," and "Haven't Been Doing So Well," Turner dialed back the energy to perform "Be More Kind" and "Tattoos" alone with his acoustic guitar. The band kicked the energy back up with a few more like "Photosynthesis" and "I Still Believe," before closing the night out with "Four Simple Words" - an apt ending to a night of cathartic, communal dance and song, and the perfect goodnight to a room brimming with mutual love and respect.
