Hartford HealthCare Ampitheater presents: Young the Giant and Milky Chance, June 14, 2023, in Bridgeport, CT

Young the Giant and Milky Chance brought their summer co-headline tour with special guest TALK to Bridgeport on Wednesday, June 14. Originally scheduled for the previous week but postponed due to air quality concerns, the three artists played to an intensely eager audience. TALK opened with an incredibly personable set, reeling the crowd in with plenty of chit chat - and a quick game of catch with a pair of Crocs - before finishing up with a School of Rock cover.
Milky Chance’s reggae-infused indie rock captivated us all with their perfect balance of upbeat and chilled out, playing through a selection of songs with an emphasis on this most recent release “Living in a Haze.” Young the Giant closed out the night with an enthralling four-act set, featuring a stunning backdrop that wove the band’s story throughout the context of their 2022 album American Bollywood. The attendees of Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater were just as grateful for the artists to make their return as they were all to have everyone make the unplanned adjustments to their plans, and we can’t wait to see them next time they’re in town.
